Does anyone know if Kiddicare ever do discount promotions similar to Mothercare etc? ie 15% off over a certain spend? Do they have a baby club you sign up to, to get vouchers off?

I've never purchased from there before but the pushchair I'm after is out of stock at JL now so looking at the other retailers.

Any feedback on their customer service/after sales would be appreciated too.
Many thanks

I would highly recommend them. I have just ordered a lot of stuff from them online. Ordered at 6pm last Thursday, arrived Friday lunchtime.
Customer service team fantastic.
They have an email club you sign up to and they tell you about special offers and sometimes have access to sale prices before the shops. I also get voucher codes emailed to me.

We got the cot bed and mattress from there. In July they were doing an offer on top of sales prices to get mattress at 50% off if you bought a cot. So we got mattress for £20 instead of £80 (50% off sale + 50% off offer) and cot bed for £115 instead of £180.

Items got here super quick - ordered around 5pm and arrived the next morning. For free. Couldn't quite believe it.

They're owned by Morrisons so quite reliable I would think.

When are you due? They seem to do sales quite often (although summer sale is ending soon) so if you have a bit of time yet I'd wait for an offer to come along. Also you can get cashback through Quidco - it's 7.5% so a nice bonus.

Glad to hear the customer service is good, I need the pushchair in 6/7 weeks time so I'll sign up to their email thing and hold on as long as possible.
Thanks

I couldn't recommend them enough! We have been to the Thurrock and Croydon stores and they are so helpful, not pushy and very very friendly. The stuff we had to had delivered has been next day in the morning. Its amazing haha. We have been telling all our friends about them. They even tell you to sit in their café (don't have to buy anything) and use their free wifi to price match anything you are looking for! All they said to us was they will not price match eBay which is fair enough. They even told us that when we went up in my car (BMW 3 series coupe) they would not be happy to sell us any car seats for it as the anchor points were not in an ideal position. As we were part ex-ing my DP car for a Zafira (expecting twins and DP has 2 boys already) they said come back with that. We couldn't believe they were happy to miss out on over £100 worth of car seats, but that just made us happier/respect them even more and made us realise (I already knew deep down) that my car was not suitable for newborns haha, so DP gets my car and I get the mummy mobile lol.

They often have sales and vouchers available so do look out, but even without them you can do the price match Smile Happy shopping with them.

I also bought a bunch of stuff at kiddicare including cot and mattress (also got the same half price mattress as the other poster) plus a changing table for £20 instead of £50. I found them very good (we went to Croydon to have a look and then bought online). Everything showed up on time, free delivery over £70 I believe and I'd have no hesitation buying from there again. I found them very reasonable compared to other similar shops, I must say (eg Babies r Us, Mothercare, Mama's and Papas, JL etc.)

They are generally the cheapest mainstream retailer anyway but if not they will price match. I've never had any vouchers from them. They do have regular big sales but it tends not to be on the big brands.

MrsEllsmore · 27/08/2013 18:18

Yep I had the same excellent service, had 3 people looking at a car seat to check it wasn't their error then told me the baby wouldn't be safe so they wouldn't sell it to me for that car. It was their own brand so no incentive for them to make it up etc. Reassures you massively that the one you choose is right.
