Bad timing - getting through too many tissues

Just struggling a bit - been awake since 4
37 weeks with first baby and excited about the pending arrival.
However it's my Dad's funeral on Wednesday....
and I now have a cold....
So crying, sneezing, tired, emotional combination is not a good one. Husband being amazing but I am feeling a bit of a wimp today and not sure about getting through the next few days.
Know there are aren't any solutions - just wish the timing wasn't quite as it is.

I am sorry to hear about your Dad, the timing as you say is far from ideal, and a cold too. Glad to hear your husband is on form and looking after you, hopefully with plenty of tlc you will at least have shaken the worst of the cold by Wednesday. Will be thinking of you.

Oh OP, so sorry to hear about your Dad that must be tough. Just take it day by day, try not to overwhelm yourself with what ifs and such.

Enjoy your late pg as much as you can, and I'm sure that your Dad will always be with you.

The day I found out I was very accidentally pregnant was the day I found out my dad had 6 weeks to live - I got through it by crying stamping etc then focussing on the future my dad knew I was pg - my baby will have his name as a middle name - you'll get through this and be stronger for it just plod through day by day xxx
