Pregnant After an ERPC but now bleeding

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone could shed light on my problem.
I had an ERPC following a missed miscarriage on 4th July 2013. I hadn't had a period in 5 weeks so on 11th August took two pregnancy tests and both came up negative.
Then on 20th August I started getting slight cramping and mucusy discharge, which I thought may be my period finally coming 7 weeks after my ERPC. Then I read that mucusy discharge could be a sign of early pregnancy, so me being desperate to fall pregnant again took another pregnancy test, the digital clear blue tests and here the two tests said I was 1-2 weeks pregnant. I was absolutely over the moon so went to docs the next day but did express my concerns of cramping. The doc said not to worry as this can be common in a lot of pregnancys, just watch out for bleeding.
Then that night I started to get pinky discharge and the next morning bleeding! I have now been bleeding and cramping for 3 days and I am now panicking that I am now experiencing another miscarriage!
I did phone the early pregnancy unit however they told me its to early to see anything on a scan at the moment but what to do is take another digital test this Wednesday and see if the results have increased to 2-3 weeks.
I know it obviously doesn't look good but I'm praying that I am still pregnant and maybe just bleeding due to having an ERPC recently. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hey I also had ERPC on 4 July and got a positive pregnancy test Friday, I also have had a very slight watery bleed yesterday, I'm going to call epu tomorrow and hopefully they will see me but I'm driving myself crazy with worry xx

Ahh purplefrogshoe I am sorry to hear that you are also in this situation, it's the waiting game I hate. I really don't hold out high hopes for myself but praying to god it works out good this time. I already have a daughter of 7 but my partner and I are desperate for more children. Good luck tomorrow with the EPU and let me know what they say xx

Fingers crossed for both of us, I hope epu can give me advice but think we will just need to wait until we can have a scan about 7 weeks, the wait is the worst :( xx

Hi Emz, just been to EPU they didn't scan me as they think its too early, I've got a scan booked for 10 sept, so it going to be a long two weeks. How are you doing? X

Hey! Ah, see I hate that, then your just going to be worrying sick but if they can't see anything at this stage then I guess there nothing you can do :-(
I still had a bit of bleeding this morning but me being so impatient bought another digital pregnancy test, so did one of the sticks and its still saying 1-2 weeks pregnant so there's been no change but ill try another on Wednesday or Thursday. Good news that it hasn't came up negative but bad news that the weeks haven't increased. Fingers crossed for both of us ❤ have you had anymore watery bleeding? Xx

I know the waiting is awful :( yeah i had very slight bleeding this morning hoping it stops, fingers crossed for us both xx

Hi Purple, just thought I should let you know I done another test today and it said Not Pregnant absolutely gutted but nothing I can do. I phoned my EPU and basically was told that's it and just to tell the midwife if I get pregnant again about what happened this time round. Feel as though I'm just left in limbo but I guess that's just protocol. Good luck with you, really hope everything works out for you. Xxxxxx

Hi purple, just thought I'd log on and see how your doing? I'm still bleeding and cramping unfortunately, that's 15days I've been cramping now and bleeding for 13days! So long and worrying. I went to my doctor on Monday as I was concerned and he called EPU but again they said there's nothing they can do. I just feel its going on for too long now! Anyway, hope your keeping well Purple and its been more positive for you? Xx

Hiya Emz, sorry your doctor wasn't more helpful, hope the bleeding and cramps stop soon, I'm still bleeding, pregnancy tests still positive but scan not until next Tuesday but I don't think scan will bring good news. Fingers crossed for BFP for both of us very soon xxx

Hi Purple :-) just wondering how you got on? Hope everything is good and positive for you? Can you believe I'm am still bleeding and cramping!! Actually messaging you from the hospital as we speak, got referred by my GP. Had scans and bloodtests to see if there was any retained product but there doesn't appear to be, it's a total mystery! The consultant suggested i go back on the pill to regulate my periods again for a whole, but I'm totally against that, I just want to be able to try again ASAP! Lol. You can tell I'm desperate! Lol.
