Pulling muscles in lower stomach

I keep pulling muscles in the muscles between my bump and my pubic bone (mainly when I'm trying to stop DS (1 yr 11 months) from running into the road, lying in the road etc. I am 33+4. Does anyone know what could help (apart from not being pregnant with a toddler)?

I do have help with him but still have to manage on my own for some of the time.

I really feel for you, i'm 17 weeks with DC2 and have a very determined 22 month old toddler.

My only suggestion is reins, if toddler refuses to wear them or hold hands they dont go out. This does only work sometimes, I have stood waiting for a good 5 mins at the side of the road while my DS has his strop before agreeing to hold hands before we move on. I am however starting to struggle picking my DS up so i'll be in your position in a couple of months.

I'm trying to train teach my DS to stop when i tell him, sort of works but i know just how hard it is some days.

For the pain i would suggest a hot water bottle, soak in the bath and paracetamol as required.

Thanks, we have one of those toddler backpacks, I think I need it (or the buggy) when I don't have DH around.
