Sweep number 2 is booked for tomorrow, will be 40+6. What's the procedure after tht if I dont give birth naturally? Will it be to book me in for an induction? Break my waters?

i was booked for a sweep at 41 weeks with my 2nd dc after 1 already failed one i didnt make it that far as i went into labour before the sweep that day actually lol but the midwife said if it failed 2nd time around then they then send you to hospital to discuss the induction at term +12

So if this sweep (2nd) fails they'll leave me another week and then offer an induction?

You may be given a date for induction. I was booked to have an induction at 41+4. But this is optional, you can decline and opt for monitoring if everything else is normal.

It depends on local policy I had a sweep at 40wk then 41wk and had a 3rd sweep today at 41+2 going to be induced Sunday if nothing happens.

You can refuse sweeps/induction I believe if you wish
