Hello,

I'd like to know if anyone gave birth there and what your experience was.

Didn't want to leave your post unanswered.

The North Mid is my local hospital. I had my 1st baby there many years ago.

It has in previous years had a dreadful reputation. With my last pregnancy i booked in at The North Mid but went to Edgware Birth Center to give birth. My ante natel care was fantastic. I met a wonderful midwife who was a free thinking &very positive lady!! I couldn't have paid for better care.

The hospital has recently been given a massive much needed face lift. Im hearing good thing about the birth Center which is due to open in the hospital in November.

Go & have a look, see what you think. You might love it!

Thank you for your reply.

The other hospitals are so far and my local won't take anyone so hopefully this one will be okay.

It's merging with Chase Farm and my friends had a good birth there so I'm hoping it's better now.
