Jojo Maman Bebe Maternity sizing?

I'm looking to buy some tops from Jojo but am unsure which size to buy. S is for a bust size of 81-93 cm and M is for 93-100cm. I measured at 91 cm at 20 weeks pregnant. Not sure how much my boobs will still grow at this point as I'm still breastfeeding DD1 so the milk is already there anyway.

Any experiences with Jojo sizes?

I am a 16-18 and found their maternity jeans laughably small, but their skirts weirdly roomy...
Only have one top, but it's not that loose on the bust!

CheeseFondueRocks · 23/08/2013 12:48

So go for M? Or order both sizes and send one back?

Pre pregnancy I was a size 12, and the jojo M fits me great (except the trousers which have short legs!). Hope that helps!

knittingirl · 23/08/2013 12:56

Sorry, I was a size 12 top and 14 bottom pre pregnancy.

CheeseFondueRocks · 23/08/2013 12:59

I would mostly buy tops in 10 pre-pregnancy, but again, this was while breastfeeding...

I've only just started buying maternity stuff but I've found the Jojo sizes come up big so far.

I was a 14 top, 12 bottom pre baby. I'm 15+ weeks now and my boobs are measuring 100cm exactly. I've just bought Jojo jeans and a jumper in Medium and some jeggings in a 12. They are all a bit on the big side. Also 2 bump bands in medium - again generous.

Have a look at the reviews on the Jojo website. I've found them useful in working out which items come up big and which small. Good luck!

Also found them generous.

A tip: don't bother with the wrap tips unless you're happy to spend the next few months rearranging your clothing Hmm. They look nice, but they're a pain in the arse.

Thanks for the tip MrsHN Smile

I was mulling over whether to buy a wrap dress but figured it might turn out to be annoying. Can't bear fiddling with me clothes all the time so I will give it a miss!

GreatJoanUmber · 23/08/2013 14:13

I find them very generous in their sizing, sometimes annoyingly so!
It's best to check the reviews on each individual item as you can see how others think that particular item fits (some come up small, some big, some huge).

MrsHoratioNelson · 23/08/2013 17:37

Ah, now a wrap dress is different. The wrap is only a problem when it interacts with your trousers or skirts. No problems if its all wrap IYSWIM.

I was an 8-10 pre-pregnancy and have just bought size small. I'd say they're a fairly generous 10. x

TeaAndANatter · 23/08/2013 18:04

I'd say they're rather generous (although not for the last couple of months), but for pear shapes, the '10' jeans were still a bit tight in the top thigh.

CheeseFondueRocks · 23/08/2013 18:15

Thanks everyone. I've ordered both sizes. Can't wait for my stuff to arrive now.
