It's finally here!! Am 36 weeks today and utterly knackered - can't wait to close down the laptop at the end of the day and hopefully enjoy a few weeks of chilling out before our bundle arrives :)

Anyone else finishing today or counting down the days to finish soon?

Me! I am finishing today properly. I stopped mostly 2 weeks ago but had some work from home and two days of interviews to do- last one today. Can't wait! Am 38 weeks and having possible labour signs, so hoping that doesn't kick off quite yet :)

Enjoy your leave!

I finish on Tuesday. Another milestone in what feels like the longest pregnancy everrrrr. I'm only 33 weeks but my job involves being on my feet for most of the day and my hips just can't take any more!

Oooh, exciting times!

It's a big day.

Enjoy the next few weeks as much as you can and best of luck with the baby when it arrives! :)

Me - last day today as well! I'm only 34+5 but am looking forward to a few weeks at home with DS before chaos descends again! Enjoy your leave ladies, especially the FTM's - your last bit of time to yourself for ever a while Smile.

how fabulous, enjoy! am very envious.

am 33+3, have an ELCS at 37 weeks and have to work until 4 days before :(

I am so jealous... I dont finish until November and I am knackered at the thought of another three months at work! Have a lovely time at home, how long are you all off for?

BowlFullofJelly · 23/08/2013 11:05

As long as I can afford! Just spending my last day at work doing some calculations, and think I might be due a tax rebate in April which might stretch it out to a year fingers crossed!

Kelly Flowers for you - not much time for you to relax! I take it you don't have any holiday or option to work from home earlier than that?

Bequick when you are you due?

purplemurple1 · 23/08/2013 11:18

I'm jealous too, I'm 38weeks tommorow and working until labour starts, (no signs yet), then 4 months off, but I'm self employed so not sure how that will work as I'm already being asked if I can come back early, attend meetings etc during those 4 months.

Enjoy it and have a lie in for me :-)

afrikat · 23/08/2013 11:32

Am off for 10 months which is great. Money will be tight by the end and I am under strict budgeting conditions :)

Sorry for those having to work close to due dates :( hope you manage to get some rest between work

Am planning daily swim, nap, hypnobirthing cd and the odd cinema trip. Pretty sure I can cope with several weeks of that!

Im on annual leave until 9th sept when im supposed to be in work for three days before my maternity starts... Im due 22nd sept... BUT to be honest im bot druving atm as my blood pressure shoots up and i work an hours drive from work so prob wont be going back... Then hoping for 9 months off if i can stretch the money that far lol

SeriousStuff · 23/08/2013 13:03

So jealous! I work for myself so I'm planning to work until I pop...will probably be sending handover notes from hospital.

Enjoy every second - put your feet up, go to the cinema/coffee/lunch, nap whenever you want.
