TMI diarrhea!

Sorry! 25+5 and I've just been in the toilet for about 45 minutes with agonising stomach cramps and diarrhea. It was so painful that I was convinced I was having contractions. I also feel incredibly sick and am boiling hot, but I don't have a fever (I think). Is this something to be worried about or have I just picked up a bug?

Thanks in advance.

I've had that a few times in my pregnancy, I'm 30 weeks.

I don't think it was a big either time because after the erm toilet episodes I was fine.

Apparently it can be quite common so I wouldn't worry but there's no harm in talking to your caregiver to settle your mind.

It's sounds like a bug to me, but maybe call to MWs if the cramps persists.

I've had diarrohea a few times during my pregnancy (now 33 wks). A couple of times, I'm sure it was because I was dehydrated (during the recent heatwave) so make sure you're drinking plenty.

However, monitor your temperature and if it doesn't subside, call your MW for a second opinion.

Feel better soon!
