I'm currently 5+ weeks, and due to spotting am having an early scan tomorrow, and am pretty certain I won't see a lot. But due to having polycystic ovaries they want me in to evaluate just how far gone I am. but I so worried. Sad

hi leanne239 sorry to hear about your worrying sending hugs your way it is still very early but if your say 5+5 or 6 weeks they should def see something its alot harder in these early weeks i had early scans so i understand your worry plz take care and come back to update Smile

Hi Leanne,

They probably won't see much, but might be able to confirm things are in the right place, and that the lining is thickening well. Try to stay positive - they are probably just being cautious because of the PCOS.
Hope it goes well

Hi Leanne - I had an early scan yesterday at 5+5 (possibly 6w). There was only a gestational sac of 1.44cm. Didn't see a yolk sac or baby or heartbeat. But Dr is totally unconcerned....

Just wanted to say good luck for your scan and don't be too worried yet if there's not much to see.

Thank you for all your replies. The sac is in the correct place, but couldn't see anything yet as I am only 5 weeks 2 days. I have been rebooked for a scan next friday, so fingers crossed something has developed x
