Just wondered whether any of you had any experience of this....felt my waters leak slightly on Monday evening, went into hospital where I was checked and admitted, spent until Wednesday eve in hospital nothing else happening. Felt like docs thought I had wet myself! But I know I hadn't! Have had a few period like stomach cramps and slight back ache but only really mild. Have read it could be my hind waters, but all postings warn about infection. This is my second baby, had first babe at 32+6 weeks. Have done well to get to 36+5 weeks today! Any one else had similar experience?

I had this with ds2. I was 33 weeks & for 2 nights, everytime I turned over in bed, I leaked. I thought it was wee Blush so kept quiet. Each night became worse & then it started during the day. There was hardly any just trickles now & then. I only knew it was my waters when I noticed that my bump had gone down. Rang the mw, put me in touch with the hospital & was told there I was labour. He was born that night (52mibs into week 34) healthy & well.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks! seems that my bump is going hard more often and am getting some mild cramps with it, but guess it'll be a while. With DD only had 1 three-quarter hours of pain and 17 hours from first trickle of waters to giving birth, so am a bit concerned this time. Especially as I live an hour and a half away from a big hospital!!!

I'd definitely give the labour ward a call & explain about dd's birth. You may labour on for ages but it may well take you by surprise.
I've got all this to come, hopefully not yet. I'm currently 27+1 Smile
Good luck hun. x

They knew all my details when I was booked in so I suppose they either didn't believe me or weren't that worried. Good luck to you too. Thanks for your posts. I'll just have to wait and see!

If your waters are still trickling they'll need to see you up there (risk of infection & suchlike).
Also keep an eye on your bump (to see if it decreases slightly in size).
I'll be looking for a birth announcement! Grin
Take care xxx

Still nothing! Just thought I'd let you know a bit more, have found out that hind waters is the small pocket of water and this can re-seal itself. As long as you have enough water around the baby they will leave you alone!
