Anyone else been told they have one of these, i believe it means your placenta is at the front instead of the back, does anyone know if this will have effect on the baby/labour? thanks

MW thinks mine is there, too. Her only concern seems to be that the baby has something to hide behind when she's trying to check the heartbeat! There's no reason for it to be in the way of baby getting out, so I don't think you need to worry.

I had an anterior placenta, it caused no problems at all (except for finding the heartbeat as ds used to hide behind it Grin!) Causes no problems with labour or delivery - placenta previa (ie placenta at the bottom) will cause major probs but not anterior one.
