This pregnancy wasn't planned but very much wanted when we found out. The thing is i'm so worried about causing the baby stress because of my hectic lifestyle. I'm in my degree year at uni and work 20 hours a week, on top of that we've just bought a bigger house which we move into in 4 weeks .... and I have a 6 year old daughter to look after. Anyone else in a similar situation got any advice on how to relax and stay stress-free??

Hi princesscupcakemummyb thanks it just seems as if I make myself more stressed by trying to not stress if that makes sense. Honestly we have led such a boring wee life until now and everything has come at one, so typical but we'll count our blessings. Hope your husband is on the mend :)

Hi, I can relate - with DC2 we moved into our new house 10 days before he arrived, my husband had worked full time and on the house evenings and weekends for three months, I worked four days a week and I had a 2 year old. It was hard work and I felt stressed. I decided that it would have to be an unholy amount of stress which would harm my baby as babies are born healthy to women in some of the worst circumstances and that my baby would be fine.

My advice would be to concentrate on you and making your life easier in any way you can and try to stop worrying that you are stressing your baby (easier said than done I know!). Al though it's great that we're advised to put our feet up and takeit easy, the reality is that our lives can't stop for nine months while we take it easy.

Good luck, you've got a lot on but you'll get there!
