I've been getting a few recently, they come on quite quick and really strong, am 17+3 weeks. I only ever got 1 or 2 headaches during my first pregnancy.

Only thing that i've found helps is goin to bed early to try to sleep it off, and paracetamol. Also making sure i've had enough to drink during the day.

Whoops, didnt mean to post twice.

I have been getting them too (17 weeks) and did in my last 2 pregnancies.

I have been taking paracetamol as mine come on in the day and I have 2 kids so no resting for me.

I think it is to do with the increased blood flow during pregnancy.

I get them a lot during pregnancy. I'm nearly 9 weeks and have had some right old crackers the last few days in the late afternoon through to the evening. They're partly hormonal I think.

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and for the past 2 weeks I've gotten up evey morning with a mild headache which has gotten worse during the day and ends up as a throbbing headache by the time I go to bed. One of he other things the dont tell you about pregnancy.

I got really painful headaches around the 16week time (now 33 and touch wood not had any for ages). At first I did without pain relief, but they would last 24+hrs. My midwife said its better to take paracetamol as soon as it starts rather than suffer all day, this often kept them under control. Obviously not everyone is so keen on taking anything but mine were making me unable to work/drive/look after DD. hopefully like me this is just one of those pregnancy phases and it won't last too long.

I had really bad headaches in the evening during my pregnancy as well. I didn't take paracetamol but I did find the cool strips that you put on your forehead really worked for me.

hope it helps.

I got bad headaches around that time which were just above one eye and in the back of my head and could last for 2 days. They did stop after a couple of weeks though.

I also don't usually get headaches but iv had one for last 3 days even cocodamol doesn't seem to take it off, im 19+6 today. Hopefully a long bath and a dark room might help Hmm
