:( It's no fun is it?

Just a bag of crisps here. Feel bloody awful.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/08/2013 15:53

Its the total randomness of it all. Some days Im ok, somedays I cant eat carbs, some days I cant eat protein, some days I don't want anything!
And I appear to have the opposite of acid indigestion! Burping like mad and it tastes of potatoes! Confused

How far along are you both? I wish I could say the same. No food is safe from me at the minute! I'll be the size of a house if I continue at this rate.

MurderOfGoths · 21/08/2013 16:07

saggy It's hard isn't it? Just need to eat what you can, when you can.

star Only 8 weeks, but I have hyperemesis (same as in my first pregnancy) so this is going to be standard throughout the pregnancy.

Would much rather be eating loads. Nothing worse than the lack of energy from barely eating for nine months.

star87 · 21/08/2013 16:10

Ahhh! I was the same at that stage. I found ginger biscuits really helped.

Bloodsocks · 21/08/2013 16:13

I lived on cheese and onion pasties for the first few weeks. Only thing I could stomach. And I still now (dd is 21 weeks) can't eat two of my favourite meals as they made me feel so sick during pregnancy.

Thurlow · 21/08/2013 16:22

I lived on Weetabix, toast and jam, and ready salted crisps for about 4 months, I'm sure of it. Little and often, even if it is one bite of a biscuit every half an our, but I'm sure you know that anyway. Have you tried Cuppasoup at all? I used to be able to manage those on bad days.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/08/2013 16:25

11 weeks on Friday. It's a step up from last pg. beef and tomato cuppa soup. For 8 weeks!

Same here although the last two days I've managed to stomach a bit more than I have done previous weeks. It has meant though I've lost 4lb in a week. I'm totally off hot drinks and can't stand red meat. Bacon is as close as I get but even that makes me wants to vom sometimes. I'm all for lemonade and lilt though Blush

DaleyBump · 21/08/2013 16:35

You have my sympathy, I consider myself lucky I only had 14 weeks of pure sickness. I still occasionally puke randomly and I'm 25+4 but I've not been sick in about two weeks :)

Thurlow · 21/08/2013 16:47

You mean it's worst that your last pg? Sad Don't tell me that, whisper nice things because its's seriously putting me off TTC DC2...

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/08/2013 16:50

Sorry no. Slightly better than last time thankfully!

Horrid isn't it? I'm having a mixed bag of luck with food at the moment, some days I can eat anything (but never chocolate Sad) yet today I've managed a honey flavoured biscuits and some sprite. Meant to be cooking pasta for dinner in a bit but really don't think it's going to be a good idea. dH will have to fend for himself while I hug the toilet bowl.

Thurlow · 21/08/2013 16:58

Oh thank god! I like good stories. How many weeks did you stop feeling sick last time? Hope you manage something else today.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/08/2013 17:01

10 weeks last time.
