Pains during the night 38 weeks

I seem to get really bad pains during the night when I'm half asleep! I've had it for about a week now, it nearly brought me to tears last night it was the worst yet.
Is anyone experiencing the same? Or does anyone have an idea why it's happening?

Not having them as bad during the day also, but a lot when I go to sleep!

What kind of pains and where?
