Nausea and heat

Hope someone can help with their experiences:
We're due to go on holiday next week to a country where it's around 30 degrees Celsius. All good. But I'm 6 weeks pg and have just started with awful constant nausea. I'm already a basket case and pretty worried that I'll feel even worse not sure that's possible in the heat? We may be able to cancel and get some money back but it was a last bit of luxury holiday before ds turns two (and we'd have to pay for him!)

Does being hot make nausea worse?

Hi misty, I have felt the exact same way and to be honest, I don't want to put you off but I have found the heat makes the nausea/sickness worse Hmm I've been in a relatively lukewarm shower and its made me sick with the warm water beating on my back.

Sorry for the negativity but the only thing I could suggest is anti sickness bands if you have heard of them? They've worked wonders for me! Smile

Thanks. I've got the bands and making no difference :(
Dh is now worried the holiday will be rubbish and wants to cancel on the insurance.

I'm going to try and see the doc this week to at least get some advice. I'm worried it may get worse and develop into hg, especially as I'm still so early.

I live in a country where it is 48 degrees at the moment. Yes it is hot but we have fabulous air conditioning.

I've honestly felt hotter and sweatier back in the uk than I do here!

Assuming you are going somewhere with AC, I would say you would be fine.
