Headaches

I'm 32 weeks and for the past few days have been waking up with headaches. Just a full ache that generally goes when I get up

Then last night I had a really painful throbbing headache, woke up with a headache and so went to see my GP this morning.

BP is fine and urine sample was all fine. I stayed off work and basically stayed in bed and slept all day. Headache is still hanging around (just had a couple of paracetamol so hoping that helps.

Great news that its nothing serious, but anyone else had this? It's making me feel rubbish!

Sluggers I'm 32 weeks as well & for the last three weeks I've been having non stop headaches that occasional turn into migraines, so I feel your pain!
Got checked out by MW & Dr, the baby is ok but they advised if your prone to migraines/headaches anyway it's not uncommon for them to crop up in 3rd trimester.
Dr did recommend I see an optician, turns out I need reading glasses BUT pregnancy can change your eyesight to a degree so bear that in mind.
The advice I got was to take a lot of breaks from computer screen/TV/Phone (which I'm obviously not doing now!)
Good luck & hope they go away.

I got migraines, both visual only and full blown headache, from about 34 weeks. My BP was also up a bit so I was forever being sent for monitoring but it was all fine. No protein or any other symptoms of pre - eclampsia but everyone erred on the side of caution anyway.

I've not had any more headaches since ds2 was born so they seem to have been somehow pg related.

Ah - Dr did recommend eye test also but I forgot so thanks for reminding me! I'm overdue one anyway so makes sense I guess.
