Sore/painful boobs - when does it end?

I am 8 weeks in a few days and since 4 weeks my boobs (well nipples) have been so sore and painful that I almost can't stand it. Dh brushed against me earlier and I wanted to kill it was that painful.

I didn't have sore breasts at all in my first pregnancy, so this is a new one for me!

How long does it last?

For me I felt completely normal again at 12 weeks, then it returns around 36 weeks for a week. Sports bra in bed really helped me sleep during those painful weeks!

The awful, agonising pain went at about week 20 but they still hurt if I lie on them in bed - 23 weeks now.

Not long at all, by 14 weeks max mine were back to normal.

Any by normal I mean no pain, and they have not grown one inch during pregnancy. I am 33 weeks.

DH most disappointed :)

I am off out to get a sports bra tomorrow as night time is getting unbearable - I wake up with pain if I turn over!

my left one is sore and big and my right one has gone small and itchy lol im all lopsided at the moment , hope that passes :)
