Rather unexpectedly pregnant and still getting my head around it.

I decided to do a Clearblue Digital today, just to be sure. It said I was 2-3 weeks.

By my reckoning, I am just, just 2 weeks. In previous four pregnancies (2 DCs, 2 MC) I have never had higher than 1-2 at this point.

Is this normal or is it a possible sign of high HCG and multiples. Shitting myself!!

The 2-3 weeks thing means 2-3 weeks after conception so you would be roughly 4/5 weeks assuming you have a regular 4 week cycle.

Yes! Sorry if I wasn't clear. It's the 4/5 bit that's worrying me. I can only possibly be just 4 weeks (as in, didn't have sex any earlier in the month, even if I ovulated super early). I've only ever registered as 3/4 weeks right up to 4+6, and now I'm registering 4/5 at 4+1. Does that make sense?

Ah yes, I wouldn't worry, those digital tests drove me crazy. They aren't very accurate in my opinion. Never said what they should with my two.

If you are worried about multiples could you request hcg tests from your gp or an early scan?

princesscupcakemummyb · 19/08/2013 14:29

the indicator on these tests are not 100 percent you might just have good hcg levels which is great news Grin congrats
