hollie what do you mean by pump?? Like a heart beat?

Mine does it all the time and I am not really concerned. I can see my heartbeat in my boobs and belly quite regularly and just assume that it is because there is so much more blood flowing through your body when you are pregnant that it takes a lot more effort to pump it round.
I find it quite amusing although it does scupper my ability to try and distinguish if i can feel the baby move as am still waiting for those first flutters and as soon as i think i feel something, I notice my belly pumping away along with my heart so realise I was probably just feeling that.
Am 19+2 today with my 20 week scan later in the week and I have no reason to think that there is anything wrong.

What do you mean by pump? Do you mean that it feels all tight like it's been pumped up? If so, I think it's Braxton-Hicks. When I got Braxton-Hicks, during my pregnancies, it used to feel like I'd been pumped up with a bicycle pump and my bump would go rock hard. Is that what you mean?

No I'm only 8 weeks it can't be :) just pumps like my heart would pump x
