Its making me so sick what is this is it normal?

I think I had something like you are describing. always felt to me like I had food stuck at the back of my throat, and it kind of tasted like potato - even when I hadnt eaten any!
I think it's something to do with your reflux/heartburn. Try chewing on some Rennie - that helped me.
