So that past few weeks on and off I've been feeling breathless. Is this normal? If so what is it?!

How far along are you?

Early on it's said to be a prompt to get you to breathe more.

Later your blood volume increases during pregnancy. So your heart has to work harder to pump it round your body even when you are resting state. Which means any extra effort you add by say walking can, depending on your levels of fitness and general physical state, mean you get breathless more easily. If you are vv fit, then your heart is already much better at pumping, most of the rest of us will get breathless climbing stairs etc as we go further through.

HOWEVER if you are at all concerned, or have any other symptoms which don't feel "normal" then do call your GP or MW

I'm only 8 or so weeks chocolate. It's common then and nothing really to be concerned about? It's not all the time, but tends to hit me every now and again. My chest feels tight sometimes too Hmm

I had this really badly. I was quite anaemic.

What causes the anaemia? And how can you tell if you are apart from having white inner lids in your eyes
