I'm 9w with DC4 & I'm sure I'm showing-particularly in the evenings. My trousers feel tight and I need to open them in the afternoon! Same weight so far....how about everyone else? DD3 16MO so maybe my muscles are just completely crap!!

Same - DC4, 8 weeks today. No trousers or skirts do up.. but I feel like if I get out the maternity clothes I'll be jinxing it!

TobyLerone · 16/08/2013 09:31

Before 12 weeks your uterus is too far down to be the thing that shows. But bloating in the first trimester is really common. Loads of people get it, especially in the evenings. Mine was awful!

Holly94 · 16/08/2013 09:36

Had really bad bloating all the way through the first trimester. I struggled to hide it so it looked like a baby bump anyway, and a few people had heard me being sick in the toilets at work so everyone guessed. The bloating has gone down and I'm now 16 weeks and showing a tiny little bump. DC1.

PicnicPie · 16/08/2013 09:40

Started showing at 20 weeks. Before that it was just bloating which I only realised when I actually started showing. Before that I thought it was a bump.

insanityscratching · 16/08/2013 09:54

I told my children and friends when I was 28 weeks they hadn't noticed previously. The first time I was asked if I was pregnant by someone I hadn't told was a day after my due date Grin I never wore maternity clothes, put elastic around my jeans button or wore leggings and sloppy joes. Dd weighed 7lb 8oz and I'm five foot nothing.

VelmaDaceDinkley · 16/08/2013 10:32

In both pregnancies I was in maternity trousers by 12 weeks as I could no longer fasten my normal ones up. But people didn't start noticing that I was pregnant till around 17 weeks.

purplemurple1 · 16/08/2013 10:50

Started needing bigger trousers about 6 months (its my first) but at 7months I was sold tablets by the pharmacist that aren't safe to take in pregnancy so i guess I wasn't showing as much as I thought.

beckie90 · 16/08/2013 11:08

After 3 months scan with ds1 but was probably bloated as I had a very teeny bump come 42wks, around 35wks with ds2 and around same as that with ds3, I'm really petite and had tiny bumps so people presumed I would have teeny babys, ds1 was quite small at 6ib 8 at 2wk over, but ds2 was 9ib at 40wks and ds3 was 6ib 13.5 at 38wks. With ds3 I had bloating all the way through specially in first trimester xxx

Michjeffers · 16/08/2013 11:15

I'm 11 weeks and have been so bloated. I am off to get some maternity trews this afternoon as my current ones are uncomfortable done up. Obvious my belly is the only thing bloated at the moment but lower down does feel harder, as though something is going to start happening there in the next few weeks x

ChairOfTheBored · 16/08/2013 13:04

17 weeks at the moment and I look fat, am hoping for something more definitively 'pregnant' by 20 weeks, for the sake of personal pride!

sunflowered · 16/08/2013 14:23

I'm 13 weeks and not a hint of a bump here. I have bump envy Sad (nb I'm sure this is only temporary - I'm taking advantage of being bump and symptom free by getting as much stuff done in this narrow window as possible!)

enjoyingscience · 16/08/2013 14:59

I'm 18 weeks and have been called 'massive' three times today. It's my second, and I'm normally reasonably thin (10-12, so not tiny!), but obviously just have shit abs. I was in maternity clothes by 12 weeks, and out of my jeans by 8, but that was just early pg bloating, not a bump.

I'm a bit worried I'll be unable to get through doors if it carries on like this...

valiumredhead · 16/08/2013 15:01

9 weeks, proper bumpGrin

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 16/08/2013 15:01

Around 22 weeks.

Kelly1814 · 16/08/2013 15:29

Only got bump at 28 weeks. Told work at 25 and no one had noticed.

A client was shell shocked last week, when I broke the news and I was 31 then!

I'm 5 foot,9 and haven't chunked the weight on so think there's been space for the baby to hide :)

purplemurple1 · 16/08/2013 17:34

OK turns out I was wrong, went to the bank today with OH and we were asked if we're thinking of having kids at any point in the future - I'm 37weeks and was wearing a fitted tshirt - all I can say is the bank manager must meet some oddly shaped ladies.

(I'm 5ft so its not like I've loads of height to hide the bump either)

Naomilouise1992 · 16/08/2013 17:59

I have a bit of a belly!! I'm 15 weeks!! Never ever had a belly like this I'm wearing leggins and a baggy top with I look "big bump" rather than fat but In a maxi dress my work friends where amazed at how big my belly looks xxx

Jellybellyrbest · 16/08/2013 21:50

Hmm, yes I think I'm bloated more than anything TBH, but people have already guessed my news at 9w!!! My sis was like this when she was pregnant with twins though. Guess I'll just have to wait till my scan & see!

I'm 6 weeks now and Probably look 38 weeks as I'm a bit of a fatty so god help me when I am 38 weeks

CrispyFB · 16/08/2013 22:16

I normally look a few months pregnant anyway thanks to my trashed abdominals and general bloating when not pregnant. However I definitely have a "neater" more rounded bump at 8 weeks now. I know it is not the uterus itself, but it probably is the uterus pushing up the bloat more than it would do normally.

KirjavaTheCat · 16/08/2013 22:19

With my first, bump wasn't to be seen before I was nearly 7 months! This time I starting getting a round belly at around 13-14 weeks, and a noticeable bump by 20 weeks.

Msbluesky32 · 17/08/2013 08:29

Around 20 weeks but I couldn't get my jeans on from about 6 weeks. My hips seemed to already be spreading/moving even at that stage.

LolaStarr · 17/08/2013 10:43

I didn't have a proper noticeable bump until around 25 weeks, according to my midwife this is due to my height (5'9) and apparently I have really good abdominal muscles. No idea how, I'm not exactly big on exercise, haha! I'm 31 weeks now and still not really that big
