Days away from giving birth and DH has diarrhoea

I'm scared of catching the bug and have a vommiting and diarrhoea bug during labour! Is it mean to tell him to sleep in the spare room tonight? What can I do to minimise catching anything?

Wash your hands alot! If it makes you feel any better I thought I was in labour with my first baby and it turned out to be cramps from a tummy bug. As I had no idea what labour felt like we thought that was it. We rung the labour ward and everything! I then went into labour while still in the throes of the bug and my body just kind of forgot and got on with the labour bit. No embarrassing incidents at all not that I would have cared. That you just we've both been washing hands loads and I haven't been near him since he walked in.
