co-sleeper vs moses basket

We have opted for a co-sleeper for when the toot arrives. We did a lot of dithering and then I just went wild with online shopping and went for the 'arms reach mini co-sleeper'.

Has anyone else used something similar to great success? or do the majority of people go for moses baskets?

I had a bedside cot, which I imagine is similar, it was great, used for both children who were awful sleepers. I had a Moses basket too, because when they are very tiny they should be with someone when they are asleep, SIDS advice. I also found it useful when we went to visit friends, really portable.

I went for a moses basket so I could have them downstairs during the day.

During the night, I just put the moses basket right next to my side of the bed

I did consider having a co-sleeper later on, as the cot could only fit at the bottom of my bed, which meant I had to actually move a bit in the night (not my style) but never go round to it.

We went for Moses basket but never used it. A co sleeper would have saved her coming into bed with me!

I had a Moses basket with my first 2 DC. This time I am getting a Moses basket for in the living room and renting a bed nest co-sleeper for by the bed.

I'm being greedy this time

I can't decide whether to get a cosleeper. We already have a Moses basket which we used for DS but i'm just tempted to have that downstairs and then use a cosleeper at night.

Only problem is that we are super skint so we might just have to stick with just the Moses basket (which wasn't a problem with DS)
