X2 jobs - how many lots of maternity?

Hi,

Posting for a friend who has recently found out she is pregnant.

She has two jobs, Job A is 30 hours per week and Job B is 9.5 hours per week.

Will my friend only get one lot of SMP or SMP from each employer?

Hi,
I am in the same situation, working similar hours to your friend.
I get SMP from Job A, but I do not earn enough per week in Job B to qualify for SMP so unfortunately I get nothing from them.
If your friend earnt enough from both jobs to qualify for SMP then I think she would be able to receive it from both jobs. I forget what the minimum earnings are, it's been a while since I had to look it all up, but I found it all on the gov.uk website.

Oh great, il tell her to have a look, I'm only on one smp too, she was hoping shed get more, but i think like yourself, that will be the case for her too, as I cant imagine she earns enough from the 2nd job,
