First baby early , 2 Nd one due today but no sign :(

Hey I'm due today but there's no sign at all of baby coming:( i was 13 days early with first just wondering if anybody was early with there first and late with second ?

My first was 7 days late and my 2nd 9 days late :( hang in there. Good luck xx

Hi I was 6 weeks early with my first and had to be induced at 42 weeks with my second.

There is no sense to it, babies come when they come.

A normal pregnancy lasts from 37 to 42 weeks. The 40 week due date is really just a guide to appropriate care and falling a couple of weeks either side is completely normal and expected. It really helps to think of it as a due period because then the pressure, expectation and clock watching isn't so upsetting and disappointing. Try and enjoy these last days instead of seeing them as negative.

I know I sound annoying and at the end, you just want your lovely baby out and in your arms but your body is doing something amazing and that little baby will take the amount of time s/he needs to be ready to meet you. Have a cake. It helps.

Showofhands not at all I just get tired of all the texts I get ' asking about any twinges ' or ur still here I know people mean well. I just get stressed cause I don't feel like anything could happen for a long time as I've had no bh or show or any pains and when I was at mw yes I was still only 4/5 .

there is no rhyme or reason, baby will come when it is ready

DD1 was 19 days early, DD2 2 days late. I had a sweep the day after my due date as I was huge and uncomfortable and super fed-up by then, it worked and I was so happy when my waters broke!

Thanks I hope it happens soon . Don't think I could cope for another 2 weeks .
