Pregnant with dc3 and at 14 weeks already have considerable varicose veins....last pregnancy I remember having them not just on my legs.....Blush but didn't mention anything as I was too embarrassed (stupid I know, but they didn't cause too much pain durning that pregnancy). Is there anything I can do?? Anything I can take or buy?
I have an appointment with my MW tomorrow morning, hopefully she can help, but if anyone else can before then I would b v grateful!

Fairytrain, i dont have advice im afraid but i thought it may help to know your not alone. I had horrible varicose veins in places too delicate to mention with secind pg, but thakfully they resolved completely after ds was born.
Im now on dc 3 and too early to have them yet but am expecting them as they commonly recur. Maybe try support stockings for the leg ones byt as for others i dont kniw of anything elpful. Lets hope someone with advice will come along soon...

MW was great, she gave me some (very unattractive!) support stockings and suggested buying support knickers too. She told me to stop running as it would aggravate them and to swim/cycle instead (ran a 5km race on Sunday which has probably exasperated the problem!). She also recommended resting with feet up (doing that now Wink! )
