Have a look at every day things where names appear often. Try magazines for names of writers, check the book aisle in the supermarket for authors names, read the credits after watching a film etc. You may find some inspiration that way.

yeah I already read the credits and I quite liked Ruby Mae

You need to give us a bit more to work with! Do you like classic names? More unusual names? Any particular nationality or heritage to consider? What have you dismissed for being kind of but not quite right?

If any of my DS's had been girls they would have been Nancy or Polly.

What's your oldest's name? (Assuming you like it!)

Not something I need to worry about quite yet as only 20 weeks but I'm in the same position, lots of nice names but nothings that's making me say YES,this is it (also don't know what I'm having which means we're trying to think of 2 names!)

I'm watching the athletics, swimming championships, panel shows, anything where you hear lots of names hoping for THE name! I admit the athletics not quite as fruitful as I was hoping for but I watch in hope anyway.

We found our name in a book that my husband was reading. It will suddenly come to you I'm sure x

We've decided on Daphne. I was really quite pleased that it hasn't made the top 100. :)

Lola, Scarlett, Poppy

1proudmum - There is a whole section on baby names here which might help give you some inspiration Smile

I quite like Holly I found it on the credits on a movie but I'm not so sure it's a nice name but I also liked Rube Mae so it's kinda a draw
