Im 33 weeks today and in the last week i have been experiencing terrible lower back pain right at the base of my back. Its the same place where i had the spinal injection when i had my second child. At first i ignored this pain as i had it early on in the pregnancy and i put it down to hips etc moving in to place etc. However last week i had an awful upset stomach. At first i thought this was because of something i ate and i panicked in-case my two children were going to wake up too with stomach upsets but they never did. I had to rush to the bathroom twice with awful diarrhea but immediately after when i led back down in bed my bump contracted at the bottom. Its only done this twice both times after i had been to the toilet. I thought no more of this as my bowels cleared up. However in the last few nights my back has been in agony. Mostly at night. Its clears in the day however it often catches me out and i have to sit down on a hard chair. I cant sit on the sofa anymore as it is too uncomfortable.

Ive never experienced labour as both my children were born by c section and i never went into labour. Should i contact my midwife/labour ward. I dont want to appear being silly and over exaggerating but i dont want to leave it as im only 33 weeks.

Hi
No experience of labour as yet as pregnant with first DD but if I was you I would certainly contact the midwife and ask their advice. X
