How soon do you have your first check up after finding out you are pregnant?
I am very early - only 5 weeks and cannot get an appt. untill I will be 8 weeks gone. I can go in for blood tests now, but to see the ob/gyn, her earliest appt is like i said at 8 weeks. Had a m/c in dec 05 so i am concerened.

I didn't see anybody until I was 12w, which is normal around here. Maybe if you had the blood tests done, those results would reassure you, or perhaps you could arrange a private scan?

Congratulations :)

I didn't see anyone till my booking in appointment, but did have some quite severe pain @ 6weeks so ended up having a early scan.

I didnt see anyone til 11 weeks - which I hated. The wait was awful as I was worrying so much.

Best of luck and congratulations!
