I have had positive pregnancy test (27 July, was 7 weeks by my dates) in third pregnancy (two older kids from previous relationship). Had some mild spotting last weekend but no pain and spotting resolved. Until Wednesday, when bleeding started but more heavy and redder (like a normal period) with abdominal cramping and period-like pains. Went to a&e on Thursday morning and told to go back to early pregnancy assessment unit Friday morning. Went and had scan and said everything was fine, but only six weeks pregnant. Bleeding has continued, with excessive pain, and last night I passed a mucus-like stringy clot (sorry for detail), about 1.5cm in length. Have I miscarried?! Pain and bleeding still heavy....

Hi Hun, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this, it to me doesn't sound great, some people have these sort of issues and are fine, if A&E are turning you away you need to express that the pain is worse and get seen ASAP if not for your own reassurance then your health. Xxx

I would call the EPU in the morning. You won't know until you've had another scan if you've miscarried.

Take care of yourself. Its such a difficult time. X
