Tens Machines

I think I'll probably hire a tens machine when the time comes and I was wondering 2 things:

  1. Which is the best one, is it worth paying extra for the contractions to be counted etc?
  2. Any recommendations for the cheapest place to hire online (can you tell I'm getting sick of researching EVERYTHING now)?!

Anyway if anyone is in the know and cares to share much appreciated!

Hi Saundy. We hired one from our midwifery team. We just pay a tenner to replace the pads after use.

Ah so it might be worth an ask at my next appointment, cheers PF

I got this one, which was cheaper to buy than any hire cost I saw:

I hired mine from mothercare last time, and again this time. It's £29.99 I think.

Wow that is cheap, the price difference is nominal really.

How did it work out? Would the bells & whistles the newer ones come with have helped?

I got mine off eBay for a 7 week hire. If you search HiBaby it should come up. It was £19.99.
