Hi, joining this convo late but me and my partner have been trying for our 3rd child since march 2012, got BFP in feb 2013 but unfortunately lost baby at 6.5 weeks in march, periods returned to normal 27 day cycle, by april 2013 so anyway I'm due on tomorrow 11/08/2013 but yesterday lunch time I took a PG test while i was out shopping, no idea what made my buy one but anyway it came up negative, I had a pack of 2 so tested first thing this morning, but it's very very faint positive, my last AF was 15/07/2013, I've never tested early in any of my pregnancies so just wondering if this could be accurate, I will buy another 2 tests tomorrow and test again

A line is a line! Congratulations! Grin

My faint positive is currently peacefully asleep next to me!

By all means test again to reassure yourself (DP claimed he couldn't see the line on my first test so I tested again), but it a line is a line, however faint :)

I tested early too btw.

Ooh, I meant my faint line in now a baby girl, nearly 4 months! (Did hold onto the positive test for ages though!)

Good luck for the morning :) The hours must be going really slowly!

How frustrating the next test didn't show it up.
A line is a line though, no matter how faint! False negatives are very common. False positive are very rare indeed!

My faint positive was so faint you could literally blink and miss it, that line is now an 18week bump!! Congratulations. Test again in the morning, that's what I did and it was noticeably darker xx

aufaniae · 12/08/2013 10:33

How's it going Stacey? Did you do a test this morning?

Razzdazz · 12/08/2013 11:10

I actually got a very faint bfp on a FR and 2 negatives on cheapo tests. I am now 32 weeks. Good luck

Stacey19892008 · 12/08/2013 19:54

Still a bfn :( not sure what's going on, compared all the negative tests with the faint positive I got on the 10th nd it's defiantly a pink positive line, think I will wait a few days either for AF to show up or visit the Dr for bloods, thanks for all your replies I will keep u in formed :) X
