Hmm.... odd caramel looking discharge when Ive been to the loo.

Never had any discharge / spotting etc with dd so I really dont know.of this.is normal.

It was very EWCM texture too.

Should I be worried?

mortified i had a caramel sort of discharge which turned more brown at 8 and 12 weeks. Freaked me out completely but my midwife said as long as it doesnt turn bright red it should be fine. It only lasted 48 hours in both cases and i think as it was when i would usually expect a period it was just my body adjusting.
Midwife also said that if it continued for a while and i was worried to see my gp as they could check it out and refer me if necessary.
I am currently 18 + 1 with my first and everything seems to be going ok so far.

I am 8+4 and having lots of creamy discharge, just noticed slight browny discharge last time I went to the loo. I don't know if it signifies anything at all, but am assuming that as long as it isn't pink / red then everything should be ok.

Thank you for the responses. Youd think this being my second I would just be relaxed about everything but when stuff different happens it makes me freak Grin

I'm 15wks on my 2nd pg and have had light brown/caramel discharge since week 6. I still get it most days. Told MW and Obs and neither seemed particularly concerned. I've even had bits of pink/blood - but only small amounts when wiping. I was told to follow up only if there's a significant bleed. Hopefully nothing to worry about - just keep the panty liners handy :)
