I'm currently sat in the airport departure lounge whilst DH gets me a croissant. we've driven for half an hour, then took a minibus ride, and shortly I'm going on a plane. Why did I sign up for this when MS and travel sickness are beautifully combined!!!! Shock

Hope you have an ok flight, not sure what is working for you but I found in 1st trimester that I needed different things depending on how I felt sometimes it was dry biscuits other days a sausage bap would be the answer. Have you tried travel sickness bands they might help?

Wearing the bands today, and sucking on mints. I've found really strong mints work pretty well Grin

Peacenquiet2 we are in the south of France. Survived the dreaded Ryan air flight, DH upset the air hostess by saying I was pregnant so to avoid any possible problems a sick bag would be nice, seems they don't have them anymore! Hmm
In the end it was the driving part that was far worse than the flight. I had a window seat and focused on the wing when we were turning and it was fine. Thanks for the sympathies people x

sunshine glad your flight was ok but sorry about the car journey.

I went to Beijing on honeymoon (10hr flight) when i was 7 weeks pg. unfortunately the nausea kicked in 3 days before we went so lets just say i struggled, but i guess you just deal with it. I found life pretty tough in general for the first 15-16 weeks so the travel was just another event to deal with, but am glad that i havent let it stop me trying things and now at 18 weeks i feel a million times better.
