fetal heart rate

Just had a 31-week antenatal check and was vaguely wondering about the fact that throughout the pg so far my baby's heartrate seems to vary loads (132-156, 120, 130-142 and just now 158-161). Not worried about it (because midwife wasn't), just wondering if this is something to do with how puffed out I've got on the way to the clinic or something!?

DD2's was always high, midwife never seemed woried. Maybe baby had been moving around alot.

2Labs, dont think you should be worrying as I also had 3 different readings on my last 3 appointments - 150 - 130 - 125. My midwife said it can depend on how active the baby is at the time of the reading? The midwife would have shown concern if there's anything to worry about.
Why dont you come and join our due in August thread, I'm due 7th August with baby No.1?

thanks, yes maybe it's the activity level. Was certainly moving around trying to get away from the monitor!
