I'm in/was in (I'm 19 weeks now) the same boat. Mine's always my right side though.

Actually so far it's stayed at the same level of pain and some weeks I have it more often than others. Definitely mention it to your midwife. If it gets really bad they can refer you to physio

I had a few days of it around 7/8 weeks but it eased off again, doesn't mean its staying around for the rest of your pregnancy. It's horrible though isn't it, first time I had it was the last couple of weeks of my first pregnancy, since then it occasionally flares up but has always settled down again in less than a week :)

I had it from about 11 weeks, down the right side of my bum and down my right thigh.

It stayed for the whole pregnancy, but didn't really get worse. Flat shoes, minimal carrying (empty your handbag!) and NO SHOPPING TROLLEYS! Shopping trolleys were a huge trigger - could do the shopping fine, but would then suffer horribly the next day.

It went away straight after the birth.

It's worth it in the end Grin

I had some early on but recently (32 weeks now) I've been fine. I have been doing pregnancy yoga so this may have helped.

Mine started at 8 weeks and I got referred to a physio at 10 weeks. He was fantastic and I've not had to go back since, and I'm 23+6.

I had it really badly around 12 weeks - had a couple of days where I could barely walk. It never completely went away (am 40 weeks tomorrow) but eased off and didn't get any worse, so never really became a major problem. Hope yours settles down OP, but def. see GP or physio if it's really troubling you.

Thanks for all your posts I have my 1st scan next week and an appointment with the consultant aswell so will mention it there. There is hope yet then that it won't get worse!!! It started on and off around 8 weeks then back this week :(

Might have to try yoga or something!!! Thanks for your posts again :) xxx
