Bodyboarding safe at 11weeks?

Hi ladies, just looking for some advice:

I'm 11 weeks pregnant on Friday and off to Cornwall for a 2 week beachside surfing holiday!!
If I feel as exhausted as I have done this week then it's a no brainer and I will spend the time lying on the beach watching my DP and friends surf/bodyboard. If I feel full of beans however.....will body boarding be risky to the bump? My book says the pelvic bone should protect baby but I'm already sticking out a little bit (probably bloating but still).

Any advice v welcome!

Your baby will indeed be well protected in there.

Personally, I was finding lying on my front uncomfortable due to the bloating even before I knew I was pregnant (hindsight).

Enjoy it, it might be a while till you can do it again!
