bleeding after ELCS v EMCS

I had a three day labour followed by an EMCS. I bled for weeks and weeks after - I think it stopped at around the 12 week mark :(

Can anyone let me know if this is 'normal' for any section or if the trauma of my last birth made the bleeding worse?

Has anyone had an elective following an emergency and not bled much at all? I live in hope :)

I bled for about the same amount after my emcs and elcs (around 4 weeks)

Lighter and shorter after the ELCS than the emergency, but neither was that bad, 2-3 weeks. I didn't actually labour for either of them though. I'd been on aspirin 2nd time round and had expected worse.
