Gallbladder removal when pregnant

Hi, has anyone here ever had their gallbladder removed whilst pregnant? I,ve been waiting almost a year to get mine removed and although delighted about being pregnant, am a bit apprehensive about having to wait another year to get my gallbladder out!

I,d obviously choose being pregnant over getting my gallbladder out, but am kind of selfishly wanting both??!

Hi I didn't but I had gallbladder problems while pregnant. The dr advised against medication while I was pregnant and recommended managing my symptoms with a low fat diet. I did this (it was a pain as I craved cheese and chocolate) but it worked I hardly had any attacks, infact I kept up with the low fat thing for another 3 years till I had a really bad attack and had to have my gallbladder out. The op itself was very straight forward, it was keyhole and I only had 1 week off work Hope all goes well for you and your baby, oh and congratulations
