7weeks and sore boobs have stopped overnight?

Cn anyone advise pls.
I have had very sore boobs for the last 4 weeks and had sex last night with dh, I'm scared we were a little 'over enthusiastic' and it hurt very briefly (sorry tmi).
Then I've woken up this morning and my boobs are not sore at all and I don't feel so sick, could this be the start of a mc?
Is the any point in me doing a pg test?
I'm feeling worried.

I remember my boobs went from dont-come-anywhere-near-me sore to ok pretty much overnight too, possibly slightly later than that but definitely first trimester. And all was fine with me. And I wasn't sick either. well not until three times a might during the second trimester to reward my I've not been sick smugness

Hope everything is ok with you OP.

Thanks for replying Jena.
That is good to hear, reassures a bit, but can't help worrying.
Trying to keep busy and distract myself, will see what happens I guess.
Maybe do a pg test tomorrow?

I can completely empathise. I got my BFP 2 weeks ago and my boobs went mental. Changed size, shape and appearance, they were tingly, sore and generally ached. However, one morning I woke up and they felt completely normal. After about 2 days of worrying I asked for advice on here and was reassured it was completely normal. I was told that all the changes are due to a sudden surge of the hormones but when the body adjusts to the levels things can suddenly settle down again. I was told that it was likely that when there was another big surge in the pregnancy hormone my symptoms would start up again.

And guess what! 3 days later the breast symptoms came back with avenge! They seemed to have another growth surge and my nipples felt so itchy! They were very sensitive to touch and they felt really lumpy too! The discomfort has started to settle a little again but this time I'm not worrying at all.

There is probably little point in doing a pregnancy tests as even if a women does miscarry the HCG hormone can still remain in the bloodstream for weeks apparently.

As long as you aren't having any really painful cramps or any bleeding then it is probably safe to assume that all is fine x x

Hi Op

It's normal. My boobs went from very sore to fine over night. But it can be disconcerting. Writer is right regarding the HCG levels. I had a mc in February and I tested positive on pregnancy tests for two weeks post confirmed mc and the mc was confirmed via scan at hospital. I wouldn't worry but if you are speak to your MW and see if you can get an early reassurance scan.

Congratulations on the BFP.

Mine have been SO painful since before I found out and are still sooo sore am 10 weeks. Alot of peoples symptoms come and go (my sickness does) dont think you should be too worried xx

Thankyou for all replies. I have not had any leading or abdo cramps, so maybe I should just keep my fingers crossed that all is ok?

Is it possible to have a mc without any bleeding or pain?

I really wouldn't worry. Why not speak to your MW.. If you are worried I would really recommend you speak to your MW.

It's easy to get really worked up in the early weeks because you constantly asses your symptoms and then look them OP on google which is normally a huge mistake. I am 18+3 and I remember the anxiety of the first 12 weeks.

With regards your question on mc. It is possible to have a mmc (missed miscarriage) and not be aware for a number of weeks that you have mc. You don't always bleed or feel pain with mmc.

TwickyWoo · 04/08/2013 17:52

Don't worry about it. I'm 20 weeks and have been having the sore boobs symptoms on and off since the early weeks. Just be grateful that you have some respite... they will no doubt be 'resting' and you'll hit another growth and sore spurt again really soon! :)
