I just had to tell everyone about my resent experiences im 19 weeks pregnant today and started to feel my baby moving around about a week ago but then it just stopped and I didn't feel anything for a few days, I was told that it was normal for them to be random at this stage but coulnt help worrying think im a bit paranoid due to a misscarrige at xmas : ( anyway I contacted the midwife for some reassurance and she agreed to check the heartbeat and of course it was fine this was just yesterday and then today the baby has moved loads isn't that just typical :D

Smile

at 19weeks I was feeling movements, but quite rarely... like maybe every second day or so. Now at 35 weeks it's constant!

hang in there, everything will be ok Smile

When I was 19 weeks I was feeling movement but also not routinely. Now 23 weeks, 3 days ago I got worried as usually I get a few big kicks a day and I hadn't for 2 days although I'd felt light movement. Yesterday I tried to nap as all my energy just vanished and what do you know he was kicking like mad keeping me awake Grin lol. I also found if I press gently on my stomach that tends to get him to move a little so if I'm worried about it in future I will just have a little press and see Smile.

Also I only found out today, did you know there's a "count the kicks" app which is actually quite good I think (although it takes a few mins to figure out as it doesn't provide instructions, or maybe I'm just slow due to tired/sleepy brain lol!) SmileThanks

My midwife told me that I should be feeling movement every day at 24 weeks so I'm guessing that before that it can be random. I'm lucky cos I have a right wriggle bum and have been feeling movement everyday for several weeks now and I'm nearly 23 weeks. But this is a second pregnancy and think it can be felt earlier in second pregnancies anyway.
Glad all is ok. It's always good to be aware of what baby is or isn't doing.

I can't wait tili feel my baby move, only 17 weeks so I guess I have a few weeks to go

I felt mine move a couple of times (usually when lying on my tummy in bed) from about 15 weeks. I'm 20 weeks now and for the last week of so the movements are becoming more obvious and more constant. It is just a waiting game - try not to worry. :)
