abnormal smear and 8 week pregnant

please can someone give me any reasurrance.

I had smear on 2 july found out i was pregnant on 8 th july.

Had ultra sound last week at 6+5 and it picked up an ovaian cyst at 3cm which sonographer didnt seam to be worried about.

recieved a letter today which is saying that the results from my cervical screening test that shows that there are changes the require further investigation and that my cervic is checked with a more detailed examiation -colposcopy.

My appointment isnt until friday i am freaking out :( has anyone else been through this ? x

Have you asked whether they can still do the colposcopy now you're pregnant?

i just got a letter today and a phone call with appointment, with it being saturday i will have to wait until mon to speak someone!

This page suggests that you're still fine to have the colposcopy while pregnant. Try not to worry about it too much. I know that sounds hard but there's nothing you can do at this point.
