fainting while pregnant and emergency ecg!

Collapsed at work yesterday and was rushed to hospital by ambulance. Am 12 weeks I think but have first scan on wed, they kept testing my heart as it was irregular and my blood pressure was really low. Any one else fainted like this ive read about dizziness but not properly passing out!!Was very scared and now been reffered to gp for my heart to be monitored!! :(

I has a similar experience when I was 30-something weeks. The ECGed me and traced the baby but all was normal. For me it was just one of those things. Hadn't happened before or since.

Sorry, not much help, but you are all the better for the medical profession keeping an eye on you.

You need to be checked for anaemia too.

I've been having this too and I'm now 27 weeks. Just had a 24 hour heart trace done but I doubt it'll show anything. Make sure your bloods are checked properly but it's most likely your blood pressure. Are you under stress at work? That def can make things a lot worse. Hope you feel better!

Thats the thing all my bloods were normal and I was just sitting having a chat when it happened. Feel terrible again today just hope its the after effects of yesterday. They worried me because its so early apparantly its more likely to happen later on does that mean it will get worse or happen again!! :(

Oh and they did nothing to check the baby! This did not seem normal so I kept asking but was ignored.

What was your blood pressure? Dehydration can also cause this sort of dizziness

Woth my last pregnancy i got very bad headaches and fainted 5 times in one weeks passing out for ten minutes one time the headaches were so severe i was rushed to hospital turned out three days late i had a mc and was rushed bk to hospital cz they thoght i had got an infection this could be whats happening (dnt want toscare you like ) but just sounds like what i had

Could be anemia.
