Almost 37 weeks - backache/period pain

Im 37 weeks tomorrow and getting lower, mainly left hand side, on and off backache and period type pain today when walking around - do you think this is just normal and to be expected at my stage? Just not had these feelings before, well not since my last period! Thanks in advance!

Can you call your midwife?i called mine every time I didn't feel right,better to be safe and reassured.

Definitely call your midwife. I'm sure everything is fine but you might be having contractions! Good luck

Thanks - In car on way home so may call when I get in - its quite mild so feel a bit of a wuss! Just quite conscious now as saw midwife yesterday and she said as I am term tomorrow it could happen anytime, which freaked me out a bit! First baby so expecting to be in for the long haul - i mean 37 weeks unlikely right, right?!
