Im only about 7/8 wks so im in the knackered as hell stage right now. Got 6 yo and 3yo who demand lots of my attention. In finding it so tiring and draining cos id kill for little rest now and again but there is literally no let up.

Me and the kids have also got dam colds with tickly coughs affecting all our sleep. Apart from mcdonalds drive thru we hsve done nothin this week which makes for long days but i just feel zapped of all energy.

Anyone else feeling the toll of the holidays combined with being pregnant? Coping strategies advice welcome!

I feel so sorry for my wee man he is 4 and starting school in Aug but I just have not had the energy to do many fun things with him its been a lot of tv and computer games. I feel awful about it 32 weeks on sunday so not long to go and he goes to school in less than 2 weeks (Scotland)

Sorry no advice I just thought you would like to know your not alone Flowers

Me! Got a 5 and 3 year old and and 13 weeks along. My eyes keep shutting even while standing and it's all I can do to stay awake long enough to put the kids to bed!!

My strategy is pre-warning kids I'm about to shut up shop and have a lie on the sofa. They have to get in all their requests for food, drink, toys off shelf, DVD changes etc as after the shop shuts, there will be no response to requests. It's moderately successful unless one of the kids wants to lie with me, as they elbow me and wriggle constantly.

Also, I've managed to off load the five year old to his friends house for a couple of hours.

Sorry, not much in the way of strategies - you'll get through this though, dispite my lack of solutions! Hope you start feeling better soon.

Lozza me too 7/8 weeks pregnant and feeling very sick all day long.
I have a 2yo and 4yo and am working pt, but days off I just have no energy to do stuff. I am having to force myself to do even basic house stuff as my nausea and lack of energy is so bad.
However, I do force myself to take them out most days I am off as I struggle with days in with my 2, so although I can't be arsed I have been doing short trips to break the day up.
However all I really want to do is lie on the sofa!
Sorry no helpful advice but much empathy.

I'm 39 weeks and my 2.5 yo goes to Pre school 2 afternoons a week, I'm really missing my break now, I'm actually dead on my feet, Especially with it being so hot.

My DH has a 2 hour commute to work so I'm praying I go into labour when he's about. Thankfully my mum and dad turned up earlier today and ordered me to sit down and took my little boy out for the afternoon :)

Yes, 35 weeks tomorrow and have a 3yr old and a 5.5 yr old. In Scotland so only have another 3 weeks to go. I'm knackered, but think they've had a good holiday so far.
