Negative test but no period.....

Hi, I am new......
I don't know what all of the jargon is or whether I'm doing this as I should and have the right etiquette!

I am a day overdue on my AF and am usually dead on 28 days. Have done 2 tests today. Both negative. Although one changed to a feint positive an hour after I did it (but instructions say to disregard any change in result after 10 minutes)

I have stomach cramps, but not like PP, like a muscle / twinges / niggly pain.

Could I be pregnant with a negative test?

Hello,

It could be that you ovulated a little later this month, so it could take a little longer for a positive to show up.

I know it's frustrating but it's prob best to wait a couple of days and retest!

I was obsessed with testing constantly but didn't get a bfp until I was 6 days late... Am now 39 weeks!

Hope I didn't ovulate much later as we only did it for the 4 days around ovulation that week so wouldn't that mean that I didn't 'catch it'? I'm a bit if a div with these things! Have a 7 year old and have had 2 miacarriages and an ectopic but didn't actually try for any of them, didn't know until we started trying this time when was the best time or anything.......

With both my pregnancies (currently 6wks with number 2), I had a false negative result when I tested as soon as my period was due. I left it for a week and then tested again.

I got 2 negative test results day after I was due my period. It hadn't turned up 5 days later so did 2 digital tests and got 2 positives saying 2-3 weeks pregnant !! Am 7 wks now Smile

I had a similar situation when we were TTC. I am always 28 days and my period was late, so I tested every day after it was due. After a load of negatives I got a positive on the 5th day.

There's always a chance that you'll ovulate at a slightly different time each month. At first DH and I just did it when I thought I was ovulating for 2 months as you did, with no luck, but then on the 3rd month we just did it every other day all month and had success.

I hope you get your positive in a couple of days but if not then have a happy August doing it as much as possible just incase you are ovulating at a different time than you think!
