I'm only 6 weeks, but am just so tired! Came home and slept for a couple of hours this afternoon, and am still sleepy now. Trying to keep awake until a reasonable bedtime though. Is this tiredness going to last, or does it come and go in waves? x

Hi hugs

I sympathise!!!

I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and the fatigue has been a nightmare.

It started about 6 days before getting my BFP and it was what first made me question whether I might be pregnant Smile
The tiredness hasn't really worn off but some days it is better than others.

I went to have a 'quick lie down' on Sunday afternoon and slept for nearly 4 hours!! Shock

Last night I went to bed at 21.45pm - which is so, so, unlike me!! I normally don't go to bed until about 23.30pm and even then I'm not overly tired. I fell asleep straight away and despite getting just under 10 hours sleep I still felt exhausted when I woke up. All I have done today at work is yawn at my desk - some of my colleagues have started not so innocently commenting on it and I'm pretty sure they have their suspicions.

I came home at 5.15pm and just collapsed on the bed where I stayed for an hour. I didn't have a sleep but I felt like I had no energy to do anything else.

I'm mentally preparing myself for this symptom lasting quite some time....

Me too! I need alot of sleep generally but this is different tiredness. My whole body feels exhausted and some days even walking upstairs is an effort. I think dh thinks I'm making it up! Don't remember feeling like this last time, and hoping it gets better soon!
